National AI Build-A-Thon Hackathon
On January 16, 2026, Daffodil Tower became the epicenter of Bangladesh's growing AI movement as the nation's landmark AI hackathon convened. More than 5,000 participants from 34 universities came together in a powerful display of talent and ambition. Across the day, 53 teams comprising 163 students took the stage, presenting bold AI-driven solutions aimed at transforming five critical sectors: education, agriculture, healthcare, e-commerce, and fintech. One winning participant, Sabiha Akter Nib, was a school-level student competing alongside university teams — symbolizing how AI reshapes traditional notions of talent and age.
Genesis AI Conference
Convened on January 17, 2026, at the University of Asia Pacific, bringing together government policymakers, industrial leaders, academics, and the NRB diaspora — all united under 'Creating a Million 10× AI Minds'. Concluded with the ratification of a Bangladesh AI Action Charter framework with a rigorous 90-day timeline for tangible deliverables.
Primary Student Coding Curriculum
A comprehensive coding and computational thinking curriculum designed for Bangladesh's primary education system — democratizing AI literacy from the earliest stage of learning. Part of the broader mission to create educational content for students, young professionals, teachers, and learning platforms.
10× Mind Lecture Series
Multi-part lecture series covering 'What is a 10× mind, what it is not, and how to become one' — demystifying AI for all, not just STEM students. Led by Foundation Council members.
